A big step forward

The Baltic-Adriatic Axis is foreseen as one out of ten TEN-T Core Network Corridors following the communication from the “Commission to the European Parliament, the council, the European economic and social committee and the committee of the regions – A budget for Europe 2014 – 2020” which has been published on June 30th, 2011.
The budget proposal foresees a total of 50 billion Euro to be invested in transport, ICT and energy infrastructure as well as in innovative management and services such as Traffic Management Systems for Road, Rail and Inland Waterways (ITS,ERTMS and RIS) and Core Network Ports and Airports.
